Block cipher algorithms are used for different areas such as lightweight systems, IoT devices with software and hardware implementations. After the publication of DES algorithm a lot of different block cipher algorithms were designed and analyzed for different platforms. In this study group, fundamentals of Block cipher algorithms are investigated. In the cryptanalysis part we mainly focus on linear and differential cryptanalysis with their variants.
