Actuarial Sciences Program of Institute of Applied Mathematics (IAM) has launched Seminar Series to share knowledge and expertise on finance and insurance with the undergraduate/graduate students.

• Machine Learning in Insurance:  Machine Learning applications will be presented with application to insurance and finance. A review of the methods commonly used in Machine Learning will be presented with the application to evaluate individual credit risk. Afterwards, the determination of early warning to evaluate the financial strength of an insurance company using Machine Learning techniques is presented.
