Regulations of IAM

• General regulations of IAM is compiled into a booklet: Rules and Regulations of IAM, which will soon be updated in several formats.
• In line with the decision of the University Senate, IAM announces the conditions on who and when to use the Institute's address as an affiliation in publications (also available in Turkish).
• In order to transfer from a non-thesis option to a thesis option, the requirements for transferring from a non-thesis option to a thesis option within the program must be fulfilled.
• Based on the Middle East Technical University Rules and Regulations Governing Graduate Studies (also available in Turkish), we have adjusted the Principles of Thesis Preperation.

PhD Qualifying Examination

Students in the PhD programmes at IAM must pass the related PhD Qualifying Examination, which takes place twice a year in general. For more details: specific rules, exam contents, references, and possibly, past exam questions, please check
